![]() ![]() The problem i'm having is every time we want to switch the songs order in Song Switcher, I also need to go and change the order in Sitala, and then every time we write a new song (every month or so) I need to go and take the time to make a new text to speech sample. What I did was I had each song in the song switcher give off a midi note every time the song switched, and I sent that midi note to a track with Sitala on it which has a bunch of samples of song names that were taken from a text-to-speech website. ![]() It works extremely well, but since we have the daw set up already, I had the idea of having a text to speech sampler speak the name of the songs into our in-ear mix so everyone can know what song we are on.Ĭurrently i'm accomplishing this by using a modified version of the cfillion Song Switcher action that I coded. I play in a band and we use reaper for our live tracks/click/switches etc. With that said, i'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me accomplish what I want to do here. Ok, so first of all, I realize this is going to be a very niche' and potentially impossible idea. We'd love to hear what you have produced with Reaper, but please post it in the weekly sticky. I do understand ther with that supposedly both the track’s audio thread an the GUI thread ias involved and this need some kind of internal communication (as MidiToReaControlPath does, but unfortunately that plugin is not open source)įor “configuration support” I suppose communication from the Editor (only the GUI thread involved).īTW.: In fact I first considered to take over the support for the LiveConfigs part of SWS (which is rather alien to SWS and for understandable reasons for the main supporter of SWS it’s of lesser interest), but it seemed to be quite impossible to separate LifeConfigs form the rest of SWS.Posts should be related to Reaper, the digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software created by Cockos. I suppose I need to communicate from the “Processor” when the system is to be working in a live setup: it digests Midi messages and performs the “patch changing” as it had been configured to. install plugins in tracks ad set properties like “ignore delay compensation”.Later I might want to support the user with configuring their setup I did not yet research on how this is done.) controlling some track volume parameter which is not the main slider. do what LiveConfigs calls “tiny fades” (i.e. ![]() Regarding “remote-controlling” Reaper, in a first shot I’d like to implement the live activities That supposedly includes what is done by MidiToReaControlPath (or ReaLearn, FWIW). I’d lidk something similar as SWS LiveConfigs. ![]()
